Sail the waves of the most advanced postural control science

What is the BioVRSea

BioVRSea is an innovative research paradigms to measure postural control responses using Virtual Reality and a moving platform mimicking the behavior of a boat on the sea.

It facilitates the study and quantification of physiological responses associated with balance and postural control. By tracking biosignals such as Electromyography, Electroencephalography, Center of Pressure, and heart rate, BioVRSea provides crucial insights into how the body and brain coordinate responses in complex sensory environments.

Our research includes healthy subjects and individuals with balance disorders or neurodegenerative diseases, aiming to enhance understanding and develop interventions for these conditions.

Join the BioVRSea Research Journey

Come on Board! Join us at world’s unique BioVRSea platform, where we're exploring how our bodies stay balanced and maintain postural control on a moving platform! Imagine being on a virtual boat, feeling the waves, all while we study how your body reacts.

It's easy to join! You'll wear some cool Virtual Reality google and fancy gears that tracks your body signals, like brain, muscle activity, heart behaviour and your (good?) equilibrium, contributing to more than 1,800 person-specific features per session! Plus, you'll help us understand more about balance issues, and contributing to novel scientific discoveries.

Over 500 people have already sailed with us, and we’re eager to include more voices. Whether you're dealing with balance problems or just love cool science, age is no barrier with us, you're welcome aboard!

Let's make waves together with BioVRSea!
